We are inside of a week until “Zeus” begins filming, and loose ends are aplenty. For starters, we are still waiting on insurance. As a film newbie, I had no idea that film crews are required to have insurance before stepping foot on any locations. Ya know, just in case the boom mic guys trips over Time Crisis 3 and breaks his neck. This is our one huge expense for the project, and we’re still waiting to hear back from our provider. Needless to say, we’re freaking out. We don’t get insurance; we don’t get locations.
Everything else is small change: Drawing up Zeus’s record book, writing him an obit, trying to figure out how to sell t-shirts that cost us $40 each to print. That sorta thing. Work calls. Keep in touch.
