Call Mr. Robeson

I got assignments to work on, so I’ll make this quick. Last Saturday, I had the pleasure of seeing “Call Mr. Robeson”, a one-man show dedicated to the life of Paul Robeson. It’s an inspiring story or perseverance and courage, written and performed by Tayo Aluko.

Prior to Saturday, I didn’t know a thing about Paul Robeson and, after the show, I was sorry that I hadn’t. He was way before his time, an original. You can learn more about the performance here; Read about Robeson here or simply watch a clip from the show:
