So we wrote and filmed a movie called “Zeus”, and it will be out in the Spring. Since last summer, I’ve been writing and recording songs and sketches to use in the film and posting them when complete. Some work; others don’t. The purpose of this “Lab” is to create, first and foremost. Then we’ll sort out this mess later in the form of an official soundtrack, which will be available for free download.
It’s been a long day of creating, and with “Hey, Thunder Dan”, which will play through our pivotal “Basketball” scene – I’m down to one more piece of music for “Zeus”.
We initially wanted something “Teen Wolf”-inspired but I just don’t seem to have the 1986 sound in me. If you listen to “All Noise” (you can find the link below), you might find that the two are similar in their chord structures. That’s because I lifted that same progression for kicks.
And, yes, this song goes out to Thunder Dan Marjerle.
