So The Internet has wrestled itself from the clutches of trolls, the bored and the morbidly depressed to bring us this bit of nostalgia. Some beautiful, beautiful soul has reached back into my freshman locker and uploaded parts of After School Special’s self-titled record. The world is right again.
Hat tip to a classmate from forever ago who recorded to cassette some college kid’s radio show from circa ’97. That tape made the rounds, blessing our virgin ears with the best of the day’s bratty punk rock, including Blink’s “Carousel”, Lifetime’s “How We Are” and After School Special’s “Kitty Corner”.
