The prodigal sun has returned to Charlotte, which means nothing to me because I’m locked up in the apartment, cranking away at songs. It’s one of those rare days when ideas seem to float around my head and all I need to do is reach up and, boom, song idea. It’s wonderful.
The pride of WNY – the St. Bonaventure Bonnies – play UNCC tonight, and in typical Bona fashion the alumni are coming out of the woodwork to get absolutely hammered in uptown Charlotte and take the party bus into campus. We did this a few years ago, and this happened. Get the Charlotte Police on their Segways, immediately.
We’re four hours from gametime, which means I’m a good three hours behind every alum who’s pre-gaming.
